REAMPACK 21-A revolutionary machine from the house of Khosla with a unique link-up technology that connects to any paper cutting and stacking machine in paper mills and converter units. It wraps reams of paper, for example copier paper A4/A3 size with wrapper that is envelope folded and sealed. Stacked paper sheets are transferred into the infeed conveyor of the machine in timed manner by a transfer conveyor (not part of the machine) directly linked to the paper cutting and stacking machine. Infeed conveyor takes the paper stack to the central folding station. Wrapper is drawn from a roll from the opposite side of the infeed and cut at the right place by rotary knife. Cut sheet of wrapper is brought to the central wrapping station after hot melt gum application by means of vacuum assisted belts vertically above the paper stack. An elevator platform lifts the paper stack alongwith the wrapper and passes through the folder die. At the top position of the platform, bottom folding of one side is done before the stack is pushed horizontally into the side folding section. During the push bottom folds are completed. Subsequent pusher strokes make the packet pass through side gumming section and plough folders to complete the wrapping operation.
